Roles at Treehouse

  • House Supervisor

    The House Supervisor is a strong leader with excellent communication, organisation and time management skills. They manage a small team of Therapeutic Carers to ensure the smooth running of the household within an allocated budget.

  • Therapeutic Carer

    Therapeutic Carers contribute to the home environment by supporting the development of each young person through education, activities and play. Reporting to the House Supervisor, they are also responsible for the running of the household.

  • Therapeutic Mentor

    Therapeutic Mentor is now called Disability Support Worker and reports to the Disability Services Manager

  • Team Leader

    Team leader I'd potentially update to Behaviour Support Practitioner - reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, a Behaviour Support Practitioner develops and implement strategies support individuals under the NDIS in achieving positive behavioural outcomes and enhancing their overall well being.

Selection Requirements

Valid NSW Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check, or being willing and eligible to obtain one prior to commencement

Valid Australian Drivers Licence

Thinking Of Applying?

Qualifications

Attained or working towards a relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate (Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work, etc.)

Desirable Experience

Experience working with young people/children (House Supervisor/Therapeutic Carer)

Experience with challenging behaviours (highly regarded)

Basic knowledge/understanding of trauma (highly regarded)

Knowledge of the out-of-home-care and residential care system (highly regarded)
